Breeching inlets are installed outside the building or any easily accessible area in the building for fire brigade personnel to access the inlet. This inlet is used by the fire brigade personnel to access water. It is normally dry but is used to pump water by charging using fire fighting equipment. A breach control valve is a hydraulic sensing device that detects abnormal water flow conditions. A breach valve is set to measure water flow or pressure, and it can work with single directional or bi-directional flows. Fire brigade inlet connections are installed as independent systems which function like building-specific fire hydrants. It gives immediate fire protection access by helping fire-fighters to put-out fire fast. Collecting Breechings are used to combine two water feeds. The inlet consists of 2 x male instantaneous and outlets is 1 x female instantaneous to suit standard instantaneous couplings. The female outlet is fitted with a single twist release knob operating a single spring operated plunger.
